The Universal Type M Ink Quart is an alcohol-based, heavily pigmented stencil ink made for non-porous coders, Roll-A Stencil Jr. rollers, and pad stenciling systems. With a rapid 5–7 second dry time, it’s ideal for cold storage warehouses, refrigerated environments, and outdoor stenciling in cold climates.
Type M delivers the same strong performance as Universal’s popular Type D Ink but dries twice as fast, so you can get crisp marks that bond instantly to metal, glass, plastic, and other non-porous surfaces — even in freezing temperatures. For warm climate stenciling, we recommend Type D instead, since Type M can dry out too quickly in the rollers when warm.
