The E555-035-01 Top Cover Assembly is a redesigned OEM part for all Better Packages BP555e series gummed tape dispensers. Updated in 2018 to accommodate the factory relocation of the safety switch, this version includes two built-in magnets that interact with the internal safety sensor to allow proper machine operation.

If your machine powers on and beeps but doesn’t dispense tape, inspect the top cover to ensure both magnets are present and correctly positioned. Missing magnets will disable the machine for safety reasons and should not be bypassed.
