Impulse heat sealers work by applying a timed amount of heat to seal thermoplastic films such as polyethylene and polypropylene (poly bags, or poly lined bags) followed immediately by congealing and then cooling. Power is only in use when the jaw is lowered. Cool down occurs fairly quickly so there is minimal exposure to any heated surfaces, making these some of the safest units to operate. Add to your productivity with cutters to cut away excess poly in a nice clean cut and magnets to take away the guess work in how long to keep the heat applied.These units are extremely versatile and can be used in tons of different applications.
